Our client, a well-established Assisted Living Facility in Sebring, Florida, is seeking dependable and compassionate Medical Technicians (Med Techs) to join their care team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working with seniors in a supportive, resident-focused environment.


The Med Tech will play a key role in supporting residents with medication administration, daily care needs, and overall resident well-being while ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
  • Accurately document medication administration and resident observations
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
  • Monitor residents for changes in condition and communicate concerns to nursing staff and leadership
  • Ensure compliance with all medication management and safety protocols
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for residents
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff members
  • Respond appropriately to resident needs and emergency situations


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Med Tech, Medication Aide, CNA, or caregiver in an Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, or healthcare setting preferred
  • Med Tech certification or ability to meet Florida state requirements preferred
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience working with geriatric residents preferred
